37th IQ-Net Conference in England

The 37th meeting of the IQ-Net Network took place on 17-19 November 2014 in Little Sutton, Cheshire (England) and its main theme was: “Integrated Territorial Development in Cohesion Policy: New Instruments - New Results?”.

Territorial approaches have gained in prominence in Cohesion Policy as part of a shift to place-based policies. The meeting provided partners an opportunity to examine the integrated approaches under development in IQ-Net countries and regions and discuss their potential benefits and challenges. Discussions also covered the activities related to the closure of the 2007-2013 Programming Period as well as the progress with regard to the forthcoming programmes.

The Greek delegates attending the 37th IQ-Net meeting were two representatives of the National Coordination Authority of the NSRF of the Ministry of Development and Competitiveness: Ms Maria-Christina Makrandreou, Special Service for Strategy, Planning and Evaluation of Development Programmes and Ms Georgia Tsoni, Special Service for Institutional Support.
