One of the MOU’s main tasks is to contribute to the administrative, organisational and procedural reforms of the system for managing and implementing the EU co-funded programmes & projects.
To do so, the MOU designs and develops appropriate organisational systems, tools and handbooks that focus on assisting the Managing Authorities and the Beneficiaries in their operational procedures. Many tools are also intended for non-specialists (e.g. the Glossary of Regional Development Terms, the Citizens’ On-line Information System) or bodies involved in the preparation and implementation of EU co-funded technical projects.
MOU tools are divided into 3 categories:
- Guides presenting in detail the maturation procedures for the main categories of public infrastructure projects, as well as procedures for expropriation, archaeological permits, procurement, etc. (available only in Greek)
- Manuals, which describe in detail the basic functions and administrative procedures of bodies and services (available only in Greek)
- Brochures and other printed information about the MOU and the CSF
- Glossaries of terms providing a broad coverage of regional development terminology and terms used in co-financed European programmes and projects
(the Glossaries for the programming periods 2000-2006 and 2007-2013 are available in Greek and the Glossary of regional development terms is available in English)
The MOU electronic library provides access to all mentioned publications, to national and EU legislation and documentation relevant to the EU co-funded programmes.
The MOU publications and tools are co-financed by the European Union.
