Integrated social, economic, cultural and environmental development at local level has become the focus of MOU’s intervention, thus receiving maximum support. 

The MOU has supported interventions such as

• the “Mythical Acheron integrated development programme”
• the local strategic development plans for the islands of Gavdos, Thirassia and Nissyros
• the "Thessaloniki 2030" integrated programme
• the action plan for the reconstruction of the Municipality of Marathon following the catastrophic fire of 2018
• the integrated plan for the Pamvotis lake as well as
• the integrated territorial investment plan for South Corfu.
