39th IQ-Net Conference in Wales

The 39th meeting of the IQ-Net network took place on 23-25 November 2015 in Cardiff, Wales and its main theme was: “Implementation of Cohesion Policy 2014-20 – is simplification simply a fiction?”.

The main focus of the conference was on the issue of simplification of Cohesion policy and related IQ-Net partners' approaches. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss and learn from different partner experiences and approaches to simplification in the light of the changes introduced in the 2014-2020 programming period. In addition, an overview was given of progress with launching the new programmes in partner regions and countries, as well as of the remaining issues with bringing the 2007-2013 programmes to closure.

The Greek delegates attending the 39th IQ-Net meeting were two representatives from the National Coordination Authority of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism: Ms Aimilia Athanasiou, Head of Unit B’ and Ms Efrossyni – Eva Kotsaki, Head of Unit C’, both from the Special Service for Institutional Support.
