MOU and the Region of Western Greece as member of the European Network S3 – Sharing Solutions on Structural Funds implemented through the community initiative Interreg IIIC, organized a joint meeting in order to promote MOU as a best practice for the CSF III management.

Representatives from the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Spain, Italy and Germany participated in the 2 days’ meeting, held at the MOU Headquarters on the 30th of March and at the offices of the Managing Authority of the ROP Western Greece on the 31st of March.

During the first day in Athens, the Director General of MOU and the Heads of the Departments presented the structure, the operations and activities of the company and discussed the role of the MOU and the support it provides in managing the Operational Programmes and the Community Initiatives.

On the second day in Patras, the Head and the executives of the Managing Authority focused on the operation and the structure of the service, emphasizing on its staffing by the MOU. At the end, they toured the participants to projects financed by the ROP Western Greece.
