The 38th meeting of the IQ-Net Network took place on 27-29 May in the Norte Region, Portugal and its main theme was: “Providing better evidence for the results of Cohesion policy: monitoring and evaluation challenges in 2014-20”.

The main focus of the conference was on monitoring and evaluation of the 2014-20 Cohesion policy programmes, especially looking at approaches to evaluation plans and experiences with impact evaluations in the past. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss and learn from different partner approaches to evaluation in light of a stronger focus on results. In addition, an overview was given of progress with launching the new programmes in partner regions and countries, as well as of the remaining issues with bringing the 2007-13 programmes to a close.

 The Greek delegate attending the 38th IQ-Net meeting was a representative of the National Coordination Authority of the NSRF of the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructures, Shipping & Tourism: Ms Ioulia Kondyli, Special Service for Strategy, Planning and Evaluation.
